In December 2023, I installed a golf simulator in my garage. As a result of increased practicing, I developed pain in my elbow and began looking for an alternative mat that would be easier on my elbow and other joints. After considerable research (shout out to the "Friendly Golfer"), I decided to purchase the SIGPRO Softy golf mat. The SIGPRO Softy golf mat has been wonderful. Despite being soft and easy on my joints, my mishits are still penalized on my launch monitor. Since my setup is in my garage, I needed something light weight and easy to breakdown. This checks all the boxes in that regard, too.

Very thick and soft but I wanted to make sure there were no joint issues from hitting on it. I can say with over 20 rounds in the last 1.5 weeks I've had zero issues. What I don't love is using a tee. Yes you can use a tee but that tee will going flying backwards somewhere near the speed of light.It also destroys the foam underneath the turf. I have switched to simulator tees and I probably won't go back.
